Senior Client Support Engineer

Working with leading edge technologies, this individual will be responsible for all aspects of channel partner technical support, including implementation, integration, and operational phases. Support Specialists will work closely with development teams to isolate, replicate, and/or resolve problems escalated to this second level of support. Requires a thorough knowledge of software architecture and systems functionality in order to pro-actively resolve issues. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks a must.

Required skills

  • 3-5 years of software support experience
  • 1-2 years of UNIX or NT experience
  • Experience with leading RDBMS vendors
  • 1-2 years of software development
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment requiring minimal supervision and direction

Preferred skills

  • Application software support experience
  • Internet software and standards experience, including Java, JavaScript, CORBA, IIOP
  • EDI/electronic commerce experience
  • Project lead Experience desireable
  • A passion for customer service and resolving customer issues
