Member of Technical Staff - Application Architecture

This individual will be a key participant in Actra's effort to create the foundation for all Actra's applications. You will work with the latest technologies and incorporate them into Actra's products. You will write code for the application architecture and collaborate with other architecture team members in designing components of the architecture. You will also provide support to users of the architecture as appropriate.

Required skills

  • BSCS or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of application architecture
  • Solid understanding of C++ and Java CGI
  • Recent experience designing enterprise-wide web-based applications
  • UNIX experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with engineers from application teams, understand their needs and be the information resource regarding the application architecture

Preferred skills

  • Experience with NT, CORBA, NSAPI, Perl, and JavaScript
